The term 'inspired' does seem to be upsetting some people. The same thing has happened with the 2020 Alpinist releases. In order to shoehorn them into the Prospex range they are referred to as Alpinist inspired and clearly some would prefer them just to be out and out Alpinists, even suggesting that they are not Alpinists but a different Watch based on them.
Crazy I know and only an issue on Watch forums and dedicated FB groups. The average guy in the street drifting into his local watch store won't give a toss one way or the other.
