    Missing Bremont 59 Commando

Just thought I'd try here, one of my mates left his Bremont 59 Commando watch at a camp site and it has not been handed in.

So if anyone is sees one being offered around with no box or papers. Can you please let me know.

The watch does have his Army number on the back.

    Many thanks

    Good news. What happened?

The watch was left in a shower block at a VW gathering. The person that picked it up, has now come forward and returned the watch, even travelling a distance to do it. So all happy .

So they stole the watch, then felt guilty? Nice!

Not necessarily. Why always assume the worst about people?

How else could you read this though? They took the watch and travelled some distance away from the venue, presumably to their home. Why not hand it in at the venue, or just leave the watch there?

Or got nervous when they realised it belonged to a royal marine 😉

Not a Royal. Army Enginner Commando. Not sure why he took watch off ;)

Sounds to me that the guy who located the watch found his conscience. All people concerned are happy all the same.
