Tudor service - options apart from Rolex service center

Looking to get my Tudor Black Bay ETA version serviced. Rolex have quoted £320 for movement service and case/bracelet polish. 5 week turnaround. Anywhere else I should consider? Benefit of Rolex is the 2 year warranty. The case/bracelet does need a good polish too and I understand Rolex are second to none at this. Should I just pay the £££ or consider elsewhere.

    Any recommendations much appreciated.

    Thanks
    Mike

Why are you considering going elsewhere Michael?

Is it price? Is it the timescale involved?

personally I would just go the Rolex route happy in the knowledge that it will come back as good as new and the money spent with Rolex will go some way to secure its value further down the line.

This. I have a couple of Tudors and believe servicing via Rolex will be money well spent👍
    Especially the quality of refinishing.

To be honest it’s the money, it’s a watch I hardly wear and may not even keep. I understand securing value and all that (spending £500 service on a £6k-£7k Rolex makes sense)....but £300 on a watch that is worth £1,800 seems high.

Ideally looking for a lower cost independent that can get the watch running right (currently runs slow) and polish the case/bracelet back to new incase I decide to sell.

I doubt you will get much more than a few quid cheaper than that from a quality independent.

The work involved us similar to a Rolex.

Just bite the bullet and get it done, if it actually needs servicing.
It's just a matter of time...
