Not for me. For my dad.
He really doesn’t give a monkeys about watches but wants a gold colour chronograph with a 100m or more depth rating (his current one is 100m so he wants the new one to be) that will suit a circa 8 inch wrist.
He’s had and been happy with an Accurist for years and it’s recently packed up. It’s also well worn so he’s after something shiny and new rather than just a movement change.
Gold watch, gold bracelet, chronograph, shower safe. Yawn.
I’m thinking of directing him towards a Citizen Eco Drive.
Any recommendations before he goes and buys the same watch again? Less than £200 because he’ll bash it and won’t care for it anyway.
