Given your collection, I would go blue or green for the variety and, since I think a green dial might be a little tiring after a while, I'd choose blue.
For some years now, Seiko/Oreint, have finally made a (affordable - sub 1000 Euro) watch that really strikes me...
Unfortunately, have no chnace to try it on, but looks like a very well balanced watch, with nice proportions, simple but dependable movement, soild build & sapphire crystal :)
Any of you took the plunge and perhaps care to share their thoughts? Also, in a small collection of 7-8 black dialled watches, I am not sure whether I should go black (safe & smart), blue (Sporty and summeresque) or green (a la Kermit) :)
What say you?
Given your collection, I would go blue or green for the variety and, since I think a green dial might be a little tiring after a while, I'd choose blue.
Ive gone for green. The dial looks to be nicely finished in this colour
With no pictures to guide me I went for green, since it's opposite(ish) to the Seiko I have on at the moment and, I fancy something in green.
I had a look a these last month. The answer to your question is red!
Where are you buying these from? From what I’ve seen supply looks limited. Personally I like the black/gold on the silicone strap but that isn’t available anywhere. Orients own website is shambolic.
Isn't there a black bezel / red dial version?
I’d just go black ... why change a habit ?
I voted, but I should probably point out that I'm horrendously colourblind and shouldn't be trusted to choose the colour of anything.
For that I got married.
Red or green is the most interesting and would be more different to your current collection than a blue one.
Thanks for all your replies. Very interesting no note that ghreen seems to be the preferred choice :).
It really looks nice and has a nice shiommer/effect whn the light hits the dial at the right angle. I just fear I will get tired of it...
Will give it some more time and take it from there. Will psot some photos once I decide and it arrives.
