Case ring?
Do you mean the rotating bezel, the internal chapter ring, the crystal retaining ring or the movement holding ring?
Hi all
I'm in the process of getting my 1984 6309 serviced and i'm trying to source a new case ring as the current one is showing some signs of corrosion.
I've looked around on eBay and there is one for about £60 which is quite expensive, does anyone have done on hand they would be willing to part with - or advise where else I could try?
Case ring?
Do you mean the rotating bezel, the internal chapter ring, the crystal retaining ring or the movement holding ring?
Cheers..

The ring is plated brass, the spring is steel so any corrosion will be caused by the spring. Casing springs are available on ebay at a lot less than £60.
I turned a few of these a while back having been given a box of Seiko pogue chronographs to restore. Same as 7040,
29.12mm diameter but you'll have to cut winder and (pusher if pogue) holes yourself.
