I’ve had a few nice fitting suits from TM Lewin in the past.
I’ve landed a new job that means I ought to get a new suit and an ideal opportunity to up the quality. My last few work suits have been M&S, but I think I’d like something with better fit and overall quality. I don’t want to go the made to measure route, so wondered if anybody could recommend a quality off the peg one. I’ve also had a few Jaeger suits in the past, but not sure what they are like now.
Thanks for any advice.

I really like Jaeger suits.

These days I just wear an M&S travel suit as I am constantly in and out of offices and transportation. So I need a suit that can take rough and tumble and look passable.
If you work in a smart office or customer facing role take a look
at Jaeger. They’re very very good value.

I've always gone for suit supply suits but my next suit will be a Charles Tyrwhitt endurance suit. They retail for £299 but you can get 15% off without even needing to haggle. They also have regular suits for about £220 but the £299 ones look a real step up in quality.
I still like suit supply but the material is very soft and creases quite soon needing dry cleaning more often than it otherwise would so I'm going save those suits for weddings / big meeting days once I have a Charles Tyrwhitt or two.
Haven't tried TM Lewin but only because I I think the quality of shirt at CT is a big step from Lewin so the suit should be too. Could be wrong.
I’m glad to have reached a point in my life where I only put a suit and tie on for attending court and funerals. I will say the quality of M&S suits seems to have gone some way downhill in recent years.
Ted Baker are always good.
Austin Reed used to be my go-to but haven't bought from them since they went bust - I think they just trade online now?
Some of the Charles Tyrwhitt suits use half canvas construction which in theory should help keep its shape a buy longer.
For the price these seem like a decent option.
Unless you really need a suit then it's worth going through the racks in TK Maxx and find a decent jacket and contrast tailored trousers.

Tyrwhitt ones have served me well for several years, and hold up well. Mind you, I've stopped wearing a suit every day over the last year, and I don't remember the last time I wore a tie at work (weddings and funerals only these days).
