Thinking of buying this (Sigma Valmon) but dont know brand nor value:thoughts plse?

Guys, sorry to be undecided but quite fancy this. I'm normally a Seiko/Citizen guy and have some other watches. I'm going to sell my Panerai 287 (no wrist time)so am looking at getting a dress watch with some of the dosh and whilst looking at Gruen Curvex (which I fancy) came across this from a dealer in Germany. He wants £1200 for it (its 18K gold).

Any thoughts /opinions welcome, thanks in advance

It’s not that much gold for your money. I’m sure you could get better value dress watches imo

Thanks, I thought it wasn't cheap nor a bargain. I presume that the Sigma brand isn't high value especially either. Done some searches but not very informative.
