    Planet Ocean on Isofrane

    Do people like this look?
I'm currently wearing this combo, as the bracelet for me is unwearable at present because there is no adjustment available on the clasp. I've put an enquiry through to Lunns to price up one for me etc but that another story.
Anyway quick for you all. Put a tang buckle on it to make it a bit more OEM.

Good combo in my opinion. I have the same if I am using mine for diving.
I also have a Omega rubber for the 2500 model which works on the 8500.
I know what you mean about the bracelet. There was a thread on hear with part numbers...prices ranged wildly from memory with some getting the later (9500) clasp for under £100, other well over. I seem to remember about £125 the average.

I like the combination. The gap between the case and the strap looks a little bit big, but not unacceptable and it could be the camera angle anyway.

Didn't know that about the 2500 rubber.

So Lunns just off the phone and apparently after speaking to Omega they claim to not make a clasp to fit that model!?!?
I'm sure I've saw one on here that someone has fitted to their watch.
If anyone has a part number that I can go back to Lunns with that would be great.

I have the 43.5mm Planet Ocean GMT in titanium and had the Omega adjustable clasp (in titanium) fitted to the bracelet. So you might want to visit another AD or ask Lunns to double check (or be bothered).

Mate I'm quite frustrated by it as I've just looked through several old posts on here and people have been selling them. EBay has them but yet they claim that omega says Nah mate, computer says no".

Do you still have it? Just thinking if I had a photo or part number to put to them.
Just had a lengthy conversation about it with them again and they are saying that it might be available for another model of planet ocean. Not your specific model and as such there might be a micro difference in fitting and as suck omega can't stand over it if fitted to my watch as it could come loose etc and they won't order it for my watch claiming its for the correct watch either as Omega would not look favourably on Lunns if they did that.

Sure. Part number for the titanium version is: TIZ001151

Here are a few pictures (not very good but hey ....) Couldn't get the last one to focus in properly but you get the idea.

    Mate really appreciate that.
Is that the 43mm watch or the larger one.
Just so I know if that's the actually part number for my bracelet size.
Although Lunns are adamant that they can't order the part for me as it not for my actually model of watch. Omega simply won't allow it. Its beggers belief really.

Search is your friend...this is the thread.....The part number is 0117STZ001154

[QUOTE=pjsayer;4031287]My new clasp arrived from Stratford Omega late last week (great service by the way). Definitely the best £76 I've ever spent. It took 5 minutes to fit and works very well. The new clasp gives me just about the right amount of adjustability when out and about and the extra weight seems to balance the fit somewhat making it less top heavy.

Unbelievably after all the mombo jumbo from Lunns about Omega not prepared to sell blah blah blah I've just phoned the Omega boutique in regent Street with the part number and they've quoted me a price and will also offer free delivery as I live in Belfast.

Just to add to that, that specific part number is for the SM 300 so she said it's the same size but because it's not made for the PO 8500 they can't guarantee it etc and also it can't be returned either, which is fair enough. Still happy to sell it too me though. Which is the main difference as Lunns simply can't get me the part

It's the 43.5mm as stated in my first post.

Oh and as an aside, I personally think there is too much gap between your Isofrane and the watch head. My OCD (should be CDO) wouldn't let me live with that.

    Regards,

    Si

Sorry mate, head fried with this today. Several calls between Omega boutique and Lunns. Regent Street reckon that part number is for the SM 300 too

About the lug gap. I do prefer curved straps but it's honestly not as bad as it looks

SM300 or not, it's fitted to my PO GMT and looks and works perfectly.

Go for it, you know it makes sense
