    conveyancing on line advice

I know this has been done a few times but looking for some recent experiences.
Well following on from my mortgage application(at 50 ) I've had an offer accepted on a place
So I need to find a solicitor- the estate agency have an inhouse one but the quote at £1500 seemed a tad steep(maybe I'm unrealistic)
There is no chain- I've nothing to sell and the seller is going into a retirement home
Anyone use any online ones recently and had good experiences
    Thanks
