I can’t comment on the cover but Eddie has already said elsewhere that it’s been tested to the spec.
Cheers,

Nit picking as I usually do with watches, I have a question about the new 40.
It has an anti-magnetic cover but not a soft iron dial.
Is this cover then a pointless addition? It's either that or the 4800 A/M on the back is inaccurate.
PS I bought one yesterday.

You're both missing one point and part of the question which Eddie never really answered.
Is the rating on the back inaccurate then because the cover provides more than 4800? Or is it the cover that brings it up to 4800?
This isn't something that is going to put me off the watch. I had a 1st gen Steinhart OVM with 200m on the dial when the watch was rated to 300m. Also the Vostok Amphibia is rated to 200m but can go double that with no problems.
It’s tested to 4800 so it’s proven that it’s good for that. You’d be stupid to claim any more.
I don’t see the issue but then again I don’t care about anti-mag...
