    OT: If I buy a Vox AC10...

...will I regret not spending a bit more on an AC15?

OK, silly question, but I'd be interested to hear from people who have used both. Thinking about a rehearsal or studio setting.

Any thoughts gratefully received. Music shops are conspicuous by their absence these days, and even if it was easy to go and play them side-by-side there's a world of difference between noodling in the shop and playing with the band.

    Cheers!

    This.

If your in an apartment, terrace or semi-d, even the the AC10 will be too loud. For home use I always have a half decent modeling amp.
Even a 5w tube amp needs to be cranked beyond whats acceptable when you share a wall with another home.

If youre in a detached house, get whichever sounds best to your ears.

If its for gigging, decide which one sounds better first, and then if its the AC10, are you ok wtih mic'ing it up, or would it just be easier to get the 15?
