Considering the G-Shock Watch MT-G Bluetooth Smart 20th Anniversary Edition

I've never really been into the G-Shock watches, but this caught my eye on the Hodinkee site over the weekend and I, for one, think it is rather striking:

Jura Watches are asking for a £200 deposit for it but they don't know the RRP (probably £1000), when it is available or how limited it will be. Any thoughts? Have I completely lost the plot in thinking about buying one of these? And how good is the bluetooth integration side of things on these watches?

Might be a tad more expensive than you imagine

Oh, I'd heard $1000 which seems to equate to £1000 in today's world. If it is £10k count me out!

I think 10k is a pricing error. Hodinkees hands on gives it a $1000 price tag.

I’ve handled the mt-g and they feel well made. This one is a fun piece, I like it

    The MR-G go up to £6.5k https://g-shock.co.uk/collections/mr-g

If it is a pricing error they are repeating it in a few places

MR Gs are a significant step up from the MT-Gs. No way am MTG is going to be sold for more than a MR G. Not sure why their pricing error is being repeated as such. Unless ‘British tax’ has been taken to a whole new level...
