Ours was installed by ADT which also included smoke alarm all connected to central station no problems two Yorkies and two Shih tzu.No idea on self installed.
Any of you gents have a recommendation for a wireless pet friendly (2 small cats) house alarm?
will be going into a bungalow.

Pet lenses on the PIR sensors are the key
So the pets can move around without setting things off - yet an intruder would

We have pet friendly sensors
Never had a false alarm yet...made by Bosch, can be retrofitted and cost about £40 each fitted by the firm who maintain the system
