I can’t recommend anyone, but that is a beautiful watch to have as an 18th birthday present, and a rediscovered memory.
We’re in final week panic mode ahead of an imminent house move. Digging through some sealed up boxes at the back of garage, I found the TAG given to me by my dad for my 18th.
I thought that this was long gone, lost in multiple moves over the last 30+ years. It’s like having a new watch, albeit one which needs a new battery, pressure test and service!
Lovely creamy tritium lume, I’m giddy remembering travels with this before it’s vanishing act.
I remember that the spring bar bent under some extreme manoeuvre and so was sent off to TAG for repair with the lug hole seemingly damaged. Eventually the watch returned only for the failure to repeat a week or two later. At that point the watch was boxed and has languished there until this afternoon.
Now I need the collective hive mind to suggest a suitable craftsman capable of returning this to me in clean, fully working order. Any ideas, people’s?

Genesis watches
I've used Duncan, 'The Watch Bloke' many times and have always been more than happy.
Fantastic news Andy - delighted to hear you’re reunited with such an important (and handsome) thing.
As sweepinghand said, Duncan at Genesis does a great job; he did an old Tag 1000 for me a few years back.
From memory Genesis serviced my black dial version and it was working well before it went into storage.

Thanks for the recommendations, all. I’ve been in touch with Duncan and I’ll be sending him the watch once all the boxes are unpacked later in the week. That’s assuming I haven’t mislaid it again!

Ah, what memories it must bring back. Great find indeed.
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
Congrats on finding it after so long - it’s important to have these milestone artefacts.
