    Lugs look odd on omega



    Hopefully this image can be seen and is clear enough - do these lugs look weird on the back of this titanium Seamaster? It’s on a popular auction site - I love the 2254 and keep looking at these as well ! But this looks a bit dodgy...

    They look ok to me. The little channels are for the bracelet end links.

    Yep, part of the end link sits in that recess.

    That makes sense thanks for that - I’ve not seen one without the bracelet on it which would usually cover these sections

    I don’t know about the titanium, but on my steel one which is suddenly, and slightly terrifyingly, twenty five years old, it’s one of the few areas of significant wear. Not bad, but noticeable. I assume that the nocks are just bowing to the inevitable and trying to stabilise this area.

    That must be unique to the titanium models then since the steel models most certainly don't have recesses like that. Scratches yes but not indentations. Its not something that would worry me either way, a bracelet would hide it and if you use a strap its not an area that is seen often.
