Opinions sought IWC Pilot’s XVIII Heritage watch

Does anyone have any experience with the IWC Pilot’s XVIII Heritage watch (titanium case).
Never tried IWC before and they certainly seem to have gone up in price. This model is 4K!

I think a 12-15% discount could be had without too much trouble.
3.5K is more than enough for a 3 hander with a ETA/Selita movement.

Love IWC, but hate Richemont group.

Thanks. I’ve also been eyeing the new Spitfire model which has the new in-house movement for the same price. Perhaps this would be the better watch?

I stand corrected, but wasn't the last Chrono Spitfire withdrawn after teething problems with the in-house movement?
I opted for the 7750 Valjoux version, and it's superb.
Nothing wrong with generic movements … Just be realistic in the price department!

I am pleased to bits with my IWC ,I paid well over £4,000 over a year ago.

I couldn’t get a discount which is fair enough,I got it from the Munich shop.

Then again I bought it as I like it not as an investment.
