    Police selling fakes!?

See eBay item below. Police selling the watch and not guaranteeing it’s genuine!

Have any of you confirmed it's a fake? or speculation?

    Reported, for fun.

ebay do not allow authenticity disclaimers in their adverts.
They also don't do anything about fake goods when you report 'em, but hey! I couldn't resist.

What difference does if make that it's the police? They would be treated like any other business seller on eBay I'd imagine.

May well be real. I find Navitimers to be god awful blingy things (no offence to any owners, I'm sure I have watches you won't like!), I couldn't tell a real one from a looky-looky beach seller fake.

But that's not the point, ebay do not allow authenticity disclaimers. ;)

That's true I guess. I'm just suggesting that if they've a good feedback history and have sold items such as this in the past that they'd have been flagged before now? Who knows, I'm going to add it to my watch list.
