    The Masters

    Anyone watching?

Some absolutely incredible golf today and so tight at the top. I really can’t call it.Who would have thought Tiger would be up there after all that’s happened.

If anyone isn’t watching but planning to tomorrow night, they’ve changed the times. Bad weather coming in so they are all going out much earlier. It’s on U.K. telly around 1pm instead of 7pm.

Best Masters for a while, this third round is incredible. Woods is something else, 43 and one shot off the lead after all his injuries.

    Big outsider
Good round but won't win it.

The dog’s been walked, the garden has been tidied, the lawn cut and the roast is in the oven... that’s me done for the day.

I’m looking forward to today’s play and a real bonus that it has been brought forward, personally I would like to see Tiger pull it out of the bag.

What a performance by Molinari, what did they say? One bogey in 54 holes?

I’m hoping Tiger does it, I had a small wager at 20/1 before the start.

I love it, especially the Sunday.

Molinari for me, simply because he is so straight and his putting is so solid. Missed just one putt inside 7ft all week. Outstanding. Plus he looks as if his heart rate would not increase if you put a weasel down his trousers.

This is incredible to watch, still no idea who will win. I thought Koepka earlier but think he’s unlikely now.

Best Masters for a long time. Fingers crossed Tiger finishes the job. Haven’t been more captivated since Woods vs DiMarco in 2005.

Tiger has been awesome. One of the best comebacks of all time.

Couple of my colleagues will be celebrating their win double on Tiger Roll/Woods. Think the bookies will be paying out a fair bit on that one.

    One word - GOAT.

A truely wonderful redemption for Tiger.

And people think golf is boring.

Must be one of the biggest sporting comebacks. Even if you’re not a fan you’ve got to admire him. Fair play to him.

I guess it’s because he’s been wearing a Cameron Deepsea off the course for interviews and pictures.

A remarkable comeback, and wonderful to watch. Pity it was partially gifted to him from Molinari though, but still Tiger saw it through when others couldn't. Poignant that his lad got to witness it when old enough to remember it.

Starts tomorrow. Best tournament to watch in my opinion. Can't wait!

Right now DJ, JT, Bryson all looking in superb form last 6 months. Speith back on the rise. Koepka playing 3 weeks after knee surgery.

I'm split between DJ and JT!

Put a small bet on Morikawa to win.. really looking forward to this year's Masters, many players going into the week playing well. I still wish for Rory to complete the grand slam but he's all over the place at the moment:(

  27. #27
Had a few high priced outsiders as E/W for a bit of interest ahead of the cut. Could be time for Cantlay to step up.

Wide open this year in my opinion, hard to look past DJ or JT........
Fancy Bob McIntyre to have a decent first Masters, as lefties normally do well here.

    The Masters

Always been my favourite major to watch ever since I was a kid, total escapism - the course looks amazing, and the colours are so vivid its hard to believe it’s actually real!

It tends to be the same old names play well around Augusta, so Speith getting his mojo back could be ominous

For the 4 Majors me and a few mates put a few quid in a pot and do some various bets. We mix them up every tournament. Players drawn randomly. This time:

1st round leader, 9th place in the 1st round, highest odds player to make the cut, top Brit, top 10 - highest scoring scrabble name. Lowest round on day 3 and overall winner. Bit of fun and mixes it up.

Westwood getting a booting. Not a great start for my outside pick Frittelli either.

Cracking opening round from Rose yesterday ... last 11 holes in 9-under in those conditions was incredible.

Rose was incredible on the last 11 holes. He’d be a very popular winner for sure.

Interestingly 7 shots behind the lead is the most anyone has come from behind to win (Faldo 90 and Woods 05).

Rose obviously shot the lights out yesterday which was incredible in those conditions. You’d think the rest of the pack are only gonna get closer to him from here on in - should be a really interesting couple of days to come

All set up nicely for the last 2 days, would love Rose to win. My pick Cantlay had the green sheet put round him 😭

JT still in it for me but I’d love Rose to win. He showed a lot of spirit yesterday as when he dropped 3 shots early on I feared the worse, but he kept calm and came back. Even par was a great day for him.

This is going to b a good weekend :-)

Spieth has put himself in a great position, confidence high after his win in Texas last week.

Looking forward to final round later. I think Rose is in a great position now, pressure of leading is gone so he can just go out and play. Much easier to hit the top of the board with about 3 or 4 holes to play at Augusta than lead from the start (just ask Rory! )

He was incredible really. Also had a good chance of another eagle that should have at least ended as a birdie, so could have been another shot or two ahead.

Going to be very tough for Rose to win now, it maybe with the pressure off it being 4 shots off may be better for him.

Matsuyama has not a good record final day in any majors, someone will come out of the pack, let’s hope it’s Rosie!

Agreed, he’s not a great closer so hope the pack behind gets closer ASAP tonight.

I took a pop on Xander Schauffelle before the first tee so I’m hoping he will have a good round today.
