Looks really good. Nice to see a Breitling design ageing well.

I'm sorry, this is one of the reasons why I generally don't like Breitlings, not to detract from either the OP's work or the quality of the HAQ movement but I find them too shiny.

I would really advise against you buying one then.

Great work!! But too shining for my taste, i'm more into the brushed look.

Excellent work OP - but careful with those brushed centre links! One of my favourite Breitling. A model I regret letting go TBH.

I have to date, followed your advice. A titanium model however does peak my interest.

Yep. Just Cape Cod, and the whole process, including dismantling and reassembly took me about half an hour.

It had an overhaul in June 2014. I've worn it nearly every day since.

I’ve never managed to get on with Cape Cod, is there a special technique to using it?

They are pretty blingy - I occasionally swap a watch with my brother, and I didn’t realise quite how flashy my navitimer on the bracelet was until I saw it on his wrist!

Lovely watch OP, haven’t seen the mini watch on the bracelet before, how does that work?

41 years of tarnish,I’ve never worn it since it was issued to me.
but as I was going on a military demo in London regarding N.I. I thought it was about time I did.
I initially tried some metal polish from Lidl a total waste of time.
I had to put a lot of work in but the cape cod was as the OP said fantastic.

I would be careful on a watch though as it will become very shiny.

The BBC have ignored the peaceful but noisy demo, how often you have 30,000 troops outside the Houses of Parliament I don’t know.
