i am about to buy one of those and i was wondering how does the black finish looks like after some time ? does it wear off ?
I had one and tbh yes like any PVD it will wear off. Having said that a number of posters actually liked the slight wabi effect of this.
All you really need to do is look at Porche Design and various Heuer Chrono’s online to see if you like that look when it gets a bit battered. To redo the PVD would cost approx £750 I reckon.
Don’t overpay for Breitling , they are great watches but really depreciate excluding vintage Navi’s etc. So buy well and enjoy.
