My doorbell has packed up and on removing the the old bell push it was obvious it was knackered, rusted inside.
Stupoidly I removed it but did not take a not of which 2 wired were connected too the rear of the pusher.
So, which two wires do I need to connect to the new bell push?

The whole lot of wire goes behind the door frame and behind the walls to a fuse box and then onto the door bell, so cant really tell what wires go where.Originally Posted by bootneck

I thought bells were 12v?
If it’s wired via a fuse box, have you checked the fuse?

If that doorbell is wired direct to a fusebox he has more problems than it not going ding dong.
