At a guess the red and white due to them being the longest pair, however if you look inside the house where they connect from you’ll have your definite answer.
My doorbell has packed up and on removing the the old bell push it was obvious it was knackered, rusted inside.
Stupoidly I removed it but did not take a not of which 2 wired were connected too the rear of the pusher.
So, which two wires do I need to connect to the new bell push?
Im guessing the red and the white!

Ignorance breeds Fear. Fear breeds Hatred. Hatred breeds Ignorance. Break the chain.
Strip 'em back, touch 'em together, and if it goes bingbong you've got a winner
Keep touching the wires together until it goes bing bing or tring tring.
Just get a plug in doorbell and forget all the wiring stuff
If that doorbell is wired direct to a fusebox he has more problems than it not going ding dong.
