Apologies also for a lack of updates recently due to other distractions. Anyway, it would appear that the climate control on the Clio has kicked in and it is now back at +4 seconds thus far.

Although I had to bow out at the end of June, when all my nice things had to disappear to a safe place for a while, I've been enjoying continuing to follow this thread. The performance of Grand Seiko quartz watches really is something.

I've had my Presage back on my wrist the last couple of weeks, and, naturally, haven't had to correct the time, despite one day mostly spent who knows which way up in my luggage.

Good to see it back for a guest appearance.

195.5s fast overall. This was Thursday.

  24. #324
+7 overall for the 7a38. Temperatures are lower now so things have gone back to being very stable.

As an aside, I got a Breitling Aerospace in June, with the super quartz module. Running for 5 weeks and sitting at 0s. Seems the thermo compensation lives up to the hype.... So far!

  25. #325
The GLX-5600 has had a busy week, doing its thing and keeping track of the tides. Steady at +9, so I think it must like the exercise

  26. #326
Still not a whisper of deviation from the very impressive GS

I'm surprising myself–but I'm determined to see it out now (all things being equal)!

Thanks! I didn't get that GLX too long before the start of BST, so it's been very pleasing to find out that it's about 10x more accurate than spec! Your G-shock is doing excellently too at <7s per month!

+36 for the DW5600-HR, so that's three months of deviation according to the specs +/- 15 per month but we're at five months, so it's easily within spec.

BTW JGJG you must live in some sort of temporal distortion field, where the laws of physics simply don't apply.

Ha! When I got the GS from sales corner it was actually running a tiny bit out of spec (c.+12 spy), but I have been really chuffed with the regulation. I’m sampling it a lot so as to allow for user measurement errors, and it’s running, with 5 months of data, at 0.0 spy. Which is something 🤓

The G-Shock I got for it’s tidegraph but the aesthetics and the accuracy have been a pleasant bonus.

Smile Three-quarters of the way through!

All, just wanted to draw your attention to the fact that BST is three-quarters of the way through this week (tomorrow in fact!), so it would be another nice milestone to get up-to-date readings from our challenger watches (on or before this Sunday for the next leaderboard update) if at all possible.

Well done to everyone who has made it this far!

OK, here's my 3/4-way entry. The Explorer seems to have regained some lost time over the past couple of days (or my calculations could be muddled up). I'm reasonably sure it'll get back on track over the rest of the time remaining though.

+236.5s since the start of the BST.
