What’s the GS position on its new releases now that it does Basel? Are there further new releases to be announced shortly, or is that our lot for 2019?
Last year they launched some models after Basel. It was the 25th anniversary of the 9F and they launched the sports GMT line I believe late August? This year all the new releases are Spring Drive, as its the 20th anniversary. So yes - maybe some later in the year.
I am hoping for a different dial on that new Spring Drive Chrono GMT. Just black and change the orange markings to red!
There are usually some quietly released later on. There were a few pictures of models that weren't given press time at Basel, like some regular-production versions of the new hand-wound 'elegance' LEs, a red dial hi-beat and one of those ceramic chrono monstrosities.
