After being diagnosed with Brain Cancer back in 2016, subsequent surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, it would be safe to say I was in a pretty low place. Move forward to February 2019, my wife and I welcomed our daughter to the world. Of course we are over the moon and I am happy that no matter what the future holds for me, I have left a beautiful legacy on this earth of ours.
And to commemorate said special occasion, another new arrival.
An IWC Pilot Le Petit Prince. I have always loved this watch and what it represents. The story of Le Petit Prince is loved by children and indeed adults the world over. Written by pioneering WWII aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupery.
And a stock photo of the back of the watch which shows Le Petit Prince on the surface of the Moon.
I hope to one day read the story to my daughter :)

My family has also been through a very tough time the last few years (life threatening/changing illness) which we are still trying to come to terms with

Also I couldn’t help but notice your prince is a different alignment to mine, sloppy work schaffhausen! Especially given the otherwise excellent attention to detail.
I do like the petit prince on the back, something different for sure.

My kids are the greatest thing that have ever happened to me, better even than getting a Silver Snoopy for RRP. Watching them grow up into little people is something that always makes me smile inside and I wish you every happiness in getting to know your new little best friend.

At times it must have seemed that there was very little light at the end of the tunnel so it is absolutely wonderful to hear of your joyful news.
