Can you get the back off? A shot of the movement would be very useful.
I'm going to guess a vintage Sekonda with a Soviet movement of some sort...
Received as a gift in a nice no name cardboard box with a cushion. I never really paid attention to it until last night when I got it out of the drawer and wound it up. I had assumed initially it was a cheap Chinese mechanical made to look old but on closer inspection it looks properly old. There seems to be a dial missing, no second hand. The overall diameter is around 34mm. Case back is plain with just a serial number. The bezel is interesting with what I can just describe a wavy pattern. Any ideas?

It's a ZIM 2602 movement - probably from an old Pobeda or a rebadged Sekonda.
Something like this:
I'm impressed! I looked online and thought the movement looked like a unitas 6497 but not as refined. I guess it is the same base design. Amazingly it still works, not sure about time keeping as the is no minute marking and no second hand.

Thanks for the link. How old is it likely to be based on the various variations?
