Tried one on several times, and although nice was a little underwhelmed and not the easiest to read. Ended up with the Rose / Chocolate Skydweller

I do really love the sky dweller rose gold/chocolate but the price is abit trumpy compared to the Daytona isn't it??

It is a larger watch so had more gold. It is also the most complicated watch that Rolex makes. Prices on the secondhand market are closer than if buying new

Very nice watch and certainly worth it although I prefer the black dial.

I used to own the ceramic version on a strap which was nice also

tried it on numerous occasions and really wanted to like it. Found it very underwhelming in person.

One thing to note with precious metal daytona's on leather strap is that they are very top heavy and wear awkwardly.

I've had 2 of them over years.

Now back to a ceramic s/s which is a/ lighter (at least in perception) and b/ more comfortable, the weight is much better distributed around the wrist.
