Very distressed canvas on my 614 today. Not to everyone's taste but I love it.

112 has to be my favourite Pam, I love the simplicity of the base sandwich dial

Obviously I agree, I still like the 000 painted dial though which this has finally replaced after a 10 year Panerai hiatus for myself, loving it

Panerai wasn’t a brand that I saw myself getting into, but over the years I have found it gradually more appealing.

Just arrived, my first Panerai, 44mm PAM00510

Already thinking that I rather fancy a 47mm too!

    47mm all the way!
Wear it in good health and enjoy it!

    I’ve gone the opposite way!

Been considering a 40mm for a while. Very pleased with it.

First and suspect it will not be last, and i have to say an excellent start with the 8 day, i love an 8 day!! Health to wear and welcome to the marvellous world of aftermarket straps!!

I’ve not worn my Panerais for a while so have just put on the 305, i love these watches, just something about them and the Panerai community are a special bunch!

I know I've already posted a few pics of this 375 but this one of those watches that a photo never does justice to. It really does pop.

And the composite material is lighter than titanium but heavier than carbotech, so IMO a lovely balance of substance and lightness.

This was meant for the Friday thread, but it’s a bit late now!

The first 7 days of timekeeping on this 8 day, manual wind movement, ran at +6.8 sec/day. PAM00510

I wouldn't worry about it looking 'normal' I don't think I've ever seen one look like a watch. A great conversation piece.

    Is that for sale?
I might be interested in one ....and I might be able to pull it off ...my only concern is that after that I will never be able to go back to those "small" 47mm that I already own...
It's happening to me as we speak....since I've got the PAM 194 I cannot wear my 372 and, even worse ...the 932... they look soooo small now :)

Popped the 614 onto leather for work tonight. I love the balance of the pushers on the opposite side of the case to the crown. My fave 47mm submersible ( until I get my bronzo some day ).

    Really like these combos
The green on the 233 iis old and weathered
The white on the 979 is super comfortable and sets it off well for summer(if summer ever appears here)

    Panerai

My 312, always feels special when I put it on

  37. #437
This old boy makes me leave aside my other Pamily members :)
After this one ...wearing a 372 or a 932 looks and feels like wearing a ladies watch :)
    P.S.: all three are 47mm :)

Another new blue Luminor announced today - Marina Specchio Blu - https://www.panerai.com/gb/en/collec...lu---44mm.html I must say it looks lovely. Reckon they’ll realise a new 42mm version soon also which I’ll want to try.

I did also notice they’re now following Cartier & VC in the quick strap change mechanisms. To be honest didn’t think it needed changing

The quick strap change mechanism on Cartier left me very cold. I almost lost a roadster chrono whilst skiing many years ago. The mech detached without my noticing, thankfully my glove kept the watch with me.
Is the panerai mech to which you refer a new system or their original quick change system?
