New Radiomir - Lovely but thoughts on size?

Been on the lookout for a new Radiomir to add another Panerai to my collection.

I own a PAM90 which I love for its wrist presence which to me is what Panerai is all about.

This is lovely - Automatic, Sandwich dial, small seconds and date complication at a reasonable price point.

But….it’s 40mm which to my mind a tad too dainty for a Panerai and my 8” wrists.

Definitely one that’ll have to be tried on first.

Picked up a 42mm sub this week. Bit more manageable than my 305.

Cheers. That post was when I first picked it up. It’s darker now and on a suitable gustavo strap from Cordes.

Not for everyone but my 40mm rad finally arrived after 2.5 weeks in customs thanks to brexit and the alligator strap.

Really love this. Hits all the right notes for me

That's a beauty, Kash! I hadn't noticed that they've introduced new 40mm Radiomirs, I have one of the old ones.

Cheers, it’s very hard to take a picture of as it is sunburst but the pics don’t really show it. The Panerai site has some pics of it that show it off. Very lovely colour though, not military green but more a type of mint green, more in keeping with the size and polished case I think. Very easy wear

It's quite slim, about 11mm. There is also a nice weight to it due to the material.

557 to finish off my collection and to pair with my 190. Im properly retiring from watches after this one.

Luminor/Rdiomir Plexi/Sapphire lefty/righty no seconds/seconds both sandwiches and they can share straps.

Picked this up last week. Always been a fan of the California dial, and the sterile dial and plexi is an added bonus.

Probably would have preferred it to be slightly smaller but it wears ok, and is at least faithful to the original size of the 1938 watch it commemorates.

Yours is lovely too H! I never realised they engraved California into the rehaut, nice touch.
