112 on a blue camo strap from Horus. Been wearing this again recently and love the size of it after wearing smaller IWCs and a speedy.

Loving the pictures in this thread! I think I need a Panerai in my life. Mainly because I love a good leather strap and nothing looks cooler than a nice Panerai with some battered, vintage cow skin on it.
I’ve always been a Rolex and Omega wearer but the whole image of Rolex is becoming such a turn-off that I’m starting to look elsewhere. Where on earth do I start with Panerai? I love the look of the 42mm Luminor Due, particularly the blue dial and rose hands. Good place to start? Slightly concerned about the 30m water resistance though.
And then I really like the GMT, particularly as it’s useful for work and it has a full 300m water resistance. Maybe this would be a better choice.

If you can check out the the new 40mm Luminor range. May be better suited

40mm Luminors 100m WR now on Panerai’s site https://www.panerai.com/gb/en/home/l...-quaranta.html will need to see the blue on & decide between that and a Monaco

Not appreciating enough it seems.

That’s certainly a tremendous Panerai - you must be delighted.

Aah, that takes me back. I used to have the Limited Edition 00156 Regatta, which looked very like the 88. Loved that watch but sadly no longer with me. If I ever returned to Panerai I’d look for an 88 .

The equation of time is something you really don’t see that often - great watch, congratulations.
I know it’s not the correct thread but thought I’d have more chance of posting on here than a WTB- I bought an Orloff strap the other day, really impressed by it, if anyone wants to move anything 24mm on please drop me a pm, thanks.
My first PAM and I don’t think it’ll be my last:

Still wearing this one 90% of the time, not bad panerai, not bad...
Glad you’re still enjoying Wandril.
Have a good Christmas and New Year.

Thinking of adding this submersible to my stable. It's the 42mm version - I just find my larger watches just get moved on too quickly. Any thoughts from owners? (Covered in plastic at AD btw)
“ Ford... you're turning into a penguin. Stop it.” HHGTTG
I recently got my first one. I have accepted they are big and that’s the whole point of them. Mine is a 44mm Luminor and my wrist size is 6.75 inches. I have plenty of smaller watches. One that’s 34mm but I still love the PAM.
Unless you have a 6inch wrist or smaller a 42mm Submersible should wear fine IMHO.

What are the models for the 42mm sub?
Do they hold values well?
Thank you. Sorry - I should have been clearer. I meant to say Submersible, not the Submariner. Apologies.
Hi Martyn,
I bought the Verde Militare version of this watch, it’s not too big on the wrist, it’s the reason I went for it as it’s move liveable than some of the other models.
Residuals are decent, as the VM was a limited edition I ended up paying a premium to Watchfinder to get it, but secondary market is decent generally.
