Interested to know what the future holds for the brand

I see laings in Glasgow doesn’t stock Panerai anymore

I think there going the same way has most brands ,with there boutiques and bigger companies stocking them,I think goldsmiths in Meadowhall are starting to stock them.
It seems a lot of smaller ADs are losing there right to stock Rolex, omega, panerai, etc

Yep depending on model. You should be able to get at least 20%. With a buyers market you just need to ask.

You’ll have to go to an AD,I doubt boutiques will.

One of my favourite brands and have owned a few over the years. The only one I have kept hold of is my trusty PAM00088 which I still wear most days.

Keeping the Submersible theme running, added this 1389 to the Pamily over the weekend. Seems now discontinued by Panerai who are apparently going to be shifting focus smaller… let the strap whoring begin

Been flirting with the idea for a long time and finally bought my first Panerai. There’s a lot to like and it only arrived this afternoon, so very early days. I’m not over enamoured with the OEM leather, so for now it’s on the rubber but I won’t wear it on that long term.

I’m really a bracelet guy but willing to give some of the multitude of strap options a go.

Does anyone wear theirs on a nato or canvas?

    OEM NATOs work well.

The thing with Panerai is they will rock pretty much any strap or bracelet you can get to fit; there are really no rules so have fun and mix it up

Every time I see these, I fall in love with the brand all over again. It’s just stunning. Having tried a Getat years ago as a homage, I just do not have the wrists to carry it off unfortunately.

The 233 is a good choice for a first PAM. As was said above, Panerai rock on pretty much any kind of strap, and I often wear mine on a NATO or distressed canvas. Go for bold colours, great for the summer.

Finally got to try on of the new Luminor Quarante (40mm) on last week. Must say I was mighty impressed, fit was nicer than I expected & the 1370 might be one that pull me back into the brand. Wish they produced a base version mind you.

Did you purchase this 233 recently off here? I have had it in my sights the last comple of times it has come available but sadly didn't have the funds available when it was. I have a beautiful Dirk Grandry Khaki Shark Skin strap that has a 233 combo written all over it. It has a sewn in 24mm MX buckle though that has been DLC coated. Stealth mode. I used to wear my 587 with a lovely Canvas Compass strap. Worked really well.

Its going to be a Cali Christmas season for me.

I've just looked that up and instantly fell in love!

Unfortunately as it was an LE of 500 it looks like you have to pay 100% over retail if you want one.

    Bloody lovely thing though.
