Then that is the one. Ironically, if I hadn't sold it to Mick it would have ended up going via Will as he had all my other Panerai on my selling spree.

Would highly recommend Wisemans Watches for Panerai. Will is passionate about them and a very decent guy.

I’d echo that. He was brilliant from start to finish.

I sold my GO to will and took 590/££££ in return. His offer worked out higher than I had it listed on TZ for and he was brilliant to deal with.
He's definitely going to be my go-to in future. Only found him through doomscrolling instagram!

Completely agree - just sold a Panerai to Will and it was a very smooth deal. Great communication and very straightforward to deal with. He even arranged for me to drop off the watch with a relative of his who lives locally to me. I’d definitely recommend him.

    I'm loving that 512.
I think one of these could be my first Panerai, if I can find a nice one.

Not a new watch but a new Toshi strap for my 00321. Very pleased - it will be worn out for dinner this evening.

Love Panerai, had a 312 for a while, but don't forget those that chose to remain and continued to produce great watches under the 'Anonimous' name. The oldies still had the skill to continue for a few years & produce a great line of superb cases with high technical ability, Millimetri 2000 springs to mind.

About 3 months into my first Panerai ownership experience with my PAM683. I think 42mm is about the right size for me:

    IMG_0226 by nickgaters, on Flickr

I'm starting to have unnatural thoughts about a Luminor now.

To save myself from financial ruin in the short term I think I'm going to look around for some nice black suede type straps, anyone got any recommendations?

Just when I thought I was reigning it in this goes and happens. I had sold my entire Panerai 'collection' and replaced with top ups to the pension provision and a good value Base PAM in the form of a 176. The next stage was to start moving on all my 26mm straps as all I now needed were 24mm.

But instead of seeing that through I have on a whim picked up an original plexi 372.

So I've gone from a range including flyback chrono, 8 day PR GMT, Regatta timers, a depth guage and Equation of Time to a Base and a Base.

I still love those others and would still classify the EoT as "The One" but I now have a duo worth less than half the EoT (i.e. less insurance and less worry and more in the pension fund) which give me options of an easy wear (titanium 45mm) and classic PAM.

In time I should still see if I can have a clear out of straps for both sizes if only to simplify life.

    That is a beautiful duo
The 372 could be my one and only Pam if I had the wrists for it

I’d be interested to know what 26mm you have should you decide to sell.

Didn’t realise you had a Pam clear out. I knew you loved that EoT.

Saying that the 372 for me is the quintessential Panerai. I wish I could wear 47mm & dream they’d make it in 42mm which I know they never will.

    Really?
Why is always someone who cannot understand a situation and is always biased by his nationalism???
And because you took the liberty of calling me a thief I can easily call you an intrigant stupid
This hate is the reason for all the bad things.....
FYI (even if I cannot care less) this strap came in this box....from a Panerai AD ....not from a crook from across the channel

Its because the situation is known that you keep being reminded that you stole a strap from a trusted member here by purchasing an undamaged dive strap from him on eBay, opening a case, returning him a trashed strap that was at deaths door and being refunded leaving him minus his strap and the money for it.

Dont like being called a thief? Then dont thieve things.
