It took a little while to arrive but it was worth the wait! It's exactly what I was looking for - it's surprisingly hard to find a nicely made, slightly padded canvas strap with a taper. There are lots of flat, thick straps with the same width at both ends but that tends to end up looking like a cuff on my smaller wrists! I'd definitely recommend Joe - I might get another for my Black Bay Pro.

    Very good looking watch!
Dare I ask the weight of the watch on bracelet?

Thank you! It is indeed. Let me know if you need any info on it.

The blue Submersible looks great on the bracelet!

According to my not very sophisticated scales, 160g with bracelet sized for 6.75" wrist.

Cheers Chris, I love the 44mm and 47mm Subs but I can't really pull them off so thought I'd try the 42mm.

The 42mm is definitely the right size for me just not sure whether I like bracelets or not. I've always preferred rubber straps. Time will tell!

Thanks for that, sounds surprisingly reasonable for a pam on bracelet!
Need to resist the appeal now!

    Very nice, Snoodles!

Mine in the sunshine on a new military green rubber strap. The chap in the Panerai boutique said he'd sold 4 of these straps that day! Must be inspired by this colour combo on the new 44mm model.

Is there a disappreciation thread? Because the g clamp arrangement is the silliest thing I’ve seen on a watch!

    1226. Yes new 44mm.

It’s a cracker. The white dial with black surrounds really works.

Finally bought my first Panerai this week, a 2012 312.

I had been looking at it for a while and decided to take the plunge, bought it sight unseen from Watchmaster. Their London office is very close to mine, but I never managed to find the time to go and see it in person.

My son was born in 2012, so a birth year watch for him, one day.

Lovely watch, great choice for your first Panerai- Guaranteed you’ll soon be buying a few aftermarket straps to go with it!

That’s lovely, I’ve always wanted a 176. The brushed titanium and 2 hands just fit absolutely perfectly together.

    Fantastic base model.

Arrived today. Impulse purchase whilst recovering from surgery. A well loved 176, a few scuffs and scrapes, but that doesn’t bother me.

Agreed. Was so tempted to keep it on the original rubber but I think the black strap looks killer with the black surrounds on the dial.
