Put this strap on my 946 yesterday - think it looks better than the blue strap but is subjective.

Finally back on my wrist after the servicing debacle…..

Was intent on putting it up for trade once i finally got it back- i know its not everyone’s cup of tea but i think its stunningly different, back on wrist it makes me realise how much i really like it, only think it’ll ever get replaced with a 213 , which is my grail panerai…

Spent ages looking at new models, 1312 etc… For some reason they didnt really ‘wow’ me- Picked this up yesterday, i can now see why everyone raves about the 590, stunning dial, just something about the simplicity of it….

Bought a white rubber for my 233 and was quite surprised to find that the OP text is lumed.
Was sold as OEM but I've not come across that before and my orange one doesn't feature it.
If anyone can shed any light do feel free!

The Luminor 70 year collection has lume on the strap stitching but not yet seen a rubber strap with lume.

That strap was only supposed to limited to the 70 Year warranty models, not supposed to be available to buy separately.

    Ahhh cheers Rob.
I'd wondered if it was aftermarket and autopsied it compared to my orange rubber. Identical down to the mould marks around the lug hole area and same size weight holes texture etc.
Bit of a relief to know that it does exist even if it shouldn't have been sold.

They are lovely straps, someone I know bought one of the few 1122’s in the U.K. and it comes with that strap, he asked about getting another one and was told a def no, only for the 70 year watches, I also asked in the London boutique who said the same thing.

Sounds like you were lucky to be able to get one!

I think it was pure fluke as there was no mention of lume. It was just sold as an OEM white rubber, which was what I was after!

Just onto my wrist for a try out, 233 DD, liking it thus far. The only issue is if it stays the 213 has to go.

I had a call completely out of the blue and this has arrived, but I have the option to keep or not. Has been a grail for me for many years so a decision will have to be made.

    233 > 213

Seems to be a bit of a revival with 127 prices recently. I saw a few advertised £6-8k last year; all seem five figures now.

Can't argue that, rads-wise I am down to 720 and 721, almost identical.

Looks good on the green I can't take mine off the old leather ammo style strap I'm still smitten with it. Bought a Doxa to wear through the week to keep the Pam feeling special

To be fair it looks good on majority of straps :-) I was looking at something retro ammo strap for it, just spent way too much on straps over the past few months as it is!
