    When did the Yachtmaster...........

    a) Become named the Yachtmaster 40
    b) Get a small increase from £8900 to £9050?

Was it all since Baselworld 2019?

I ask as its a watch that has piqued my interest recently and after a bit of searching, I discovered the anomaly. Don't think any others have increased.

Could be because of the new 42mm version?

    Quite possibly.

Nice one. Never thought of that. The images on the Rolex.com website do have the crown between the Swiss Made.

    Thanks

Rolex website gives the model number as 126655. There are no results for that on chrono24.

    That is it indeed.

The 116622 now no longer exists. It has been replaced with the 126622.

The existing 40mm YM models had the upgrade to the 3235 movement the same time as the 42mm was launched.

The 40mm models may have been referred to as YM 40 following the introduction of the 37mm models a couple of years ago. Same time the dark Rhodium dial was introduced.
