Now back home to the gloom and cloud after a lovely week in sunny Gran Canaria

To cheer me up, I'm wearing this Seiko 8222. Bought new for my 18th birthday in 1984.

    HAGWE!

I've had a Citizen frenzy, having only recently discovered the brand. So my here's my third in four weeks, the BN151 diver at 43mm and my first blue watch. As with my other Citizens, the second hand hits the markers perfectly and the 60 click bezel lines up. The dial is also aligned, unlike some other brands one could mention. Lume is excellent and the strap is a lot comfier than reviews suggested. Great value at £160.

    Have a super weekend everyone!

Lots of Seiko today! First Monster on my wrist - wearing while mourning how Seiko have ramped up prices away from value - seems more pronounced at Baselworld.

Also was my first mechanical watch - I believe bought in 2007.....HAGWE!

Just swapped to something a little more vintage after playing about with the bracelet so it fits.
Are we allowed to call it a mark 4.5?
Surprisingly thick (the watch not the owner) but wears well.

Thanks - I’m very pleased with this one.

No, I didn’t get it off SC. It’s taken a long time to find the right one though as many other have come and gone.....all part of this crazy addiction.
