Lots of talk about the modern version of Seiko's 6105, the SLA033. We know it will be just under four grand!!

Not much has been said about the SNR025.

Something more interesting. SNR033 Landmaster is my pick so far.

There is also a black bezel black dial model, the SNR035.

A group photo of some of the new models.

£1500 from page and cooper. So that's £1500 up front, and hope they have the good grace to send you one. Or let you know it's out of stock. Or acknowledge you

My favourite releases from BaselWorld. I really like all of them i all guises. Possibly the standard 'Land' one is my favourite. Prices are a bit hard to stomach though. Seem very expensive at >€5k - standard Spring Drive movement, so not too special.

Seiko and Grand Seiko both seem to be scurrying upmarket at quite a pace. Or, to put it another way, Seiko is quick to fill the empty space left by GS pushing up market.

Some nice stuff in this thread, that Zodiac looks like a fun watch. Also spotted a blue MM300 being announced - SLA023 is the new ref no I think.

Thank you! They look FANTASTIC in the vids.....and totally agree with the PVD 300m diver. Superb! That along with the 'regular' Land version (GMT yellow hand). They are my favourites. I want both! At half to 2/3rds of the planned retail price I could afford it. Struggling with the current numbers.

Didn't you own a spring drive diver at some point?

Ok I'm going to stand up for the compass - it adds some really nice detail to the bezel. So yes it's useless, however it looks cool. The Ti bezel on the regular landmaster is a work of art.

But the blacked out 300m diver is seriously stunning

Biggest surprise about the Arktis is that it took so long!

It's a lot of money though...

I like the Oris Great Barrier Reef and the new Heuer Autavias, too. In the latter case they seem to echo the classy subtlety of some of the recent Breitling releases.

Just when you thought Seiko prices were going crazy, Citizen go utterly mad.

The calibre 0100. A movement that is accurate to 1 second a year!

The case, in 18ct white gold, measures 37.5mm x 7.1mm. It has double AR-coated sapphire crystals and it is water resistant to 50 meters.

MSRP is a mouth watering $16,800.

    Ref. AQ6021-51E / AQ6020-53X - Limited Editions of 500 and 200 Pieces

The case, in Super Titanium with Duratect, measures 37.5mm x 7.1mm. It has double sapphire crystals and it is water resistant to 50 meters.

AQ6021-51E comes with a metallic black dial and AQ6020-53X comes with a mother-of-pearl dial.

    MSRP is $7,400.

I like the new "date at 6" 65 in steel too

And this GMT looks very tasty

I see Guinand have now done an automatic Flying Officer

    Not bad for under €1800

This looks very nice from Sinn, but it is an LE of 200

Anything else nice taken your eye???

that bronze steel tt oris might look intersting once the bronze patinates but in that photo it is a little too much for me.

Damn, I was just thinking wow I love that light/cream dial one, way out of my league!

I like the fact they've just stick to simply the brand name on the dial, that is subtlety at it's best. Pure class.

I like the numerals on that one, not sure why.... Maybe the grey bezel and dial makes it look ghosted and old... What ever it is I think it's smart. Shame it's so large but hey ho.

Slightly higher end than the Grand Seikos there was a 1 of 10 limited edition Credor pocket watch released also. A cool 10m yen plus tax. Call it 100k sterling

Amazing - this is probably my favourite variant, though the black time only is pretty nice. Thickness looks decent, I do like a little size with a sports watch (always felt the nautilus was too dainty. The APs are a nice thickness). How has it been received at the show?

Urban said very well (but you would expect them to)
There seems to be a fair amount of positive in the press and most people I've spoken to here like it so hopefully they'll do well with it.
