EBay sellers are asking up to £300, which is as much as the watch cost.
Anyone an idea where to source a cheap one or if there is a replacement movement which would work? Watch in question is an Ebel Classic Wave 181908:
I am currently following a couple of potential donor watches on eBay, any other good ideas?
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
I also have the same problem with my wife's Cartier Tank. Spent over £300 having it repaired just to stop within a couple of months.
The best solution is a new movement, but when I looked they were all stateside.
I thought there must be an alternative, though Duncan who repaired it, said he didn't think there was.
Best of luck with it, sorry I couldn't be anymore help.
