On a luxury watch forum, where many members don't think twice about dropping £5k or even twice that, on mass produced watches, imagine what the price of the "GOAT" would be?
Just when you think we had reached bonkers maximum.

Did I read that right...it’s been purchased by the Chinese. It’s probably on a menu for a cool 2m
No worse than £150 million for a painting
My son told me yesterday about this.
I told him a story from the early 80s when I was working as a young teacher. In my class was this kid who -apparently- didn't come from a well-to-do family: Father on the dole, brothers on the dole. Back then it was custom for teachers to visit their pupils in their class once/yr. So I did...
The whole family turned out to be pidgeon keepers. Little did I suspect... It turned out that their pidgeons were for breeding as well. The house (pretty basic on the outside) turned out the be a fortress with locks, two German shephards, steel doors to the dovecote and the dovecote itself looked like The Tower of London: getting in for unwanted visitors was pretty difficult...
They made a fortune out of breeding and then selling young pigeons to people all over the world! They made a fortune with that (and kept up the 'unemployment' for the Council to get their money...).
That's also the moment that I found out that pidgeon gambling has bookmakers as well!

Fair point. The pigeon is much better looking than these two

Selling homing pigeons is a guaranteed return.
