The amount of the ‘new’ Rolex watches that RPR has had on his instagram feed the last few months he’s bound to guess one right!
Only time I’ve ever seen a leaked picture was in January 2016 when on Rolex forums someone linked a website picture (could have been rpr or hodinkee, can’t remember) and it had the black and white faced Daytona which turned out to be true. I emailed an AD and asked to be 1st on the list. He replied saying he didn’t think there would be an update on the Daytona but as I’d asked 1st he’d put me down. True to his word I got it.
Could be a more violet/purple blue. New case and movement.
I do like my Rolex but a new (old style ) bracelet or a change of bezel colour is not going to make me buy a blinded out datejust to get on a list. It's hardly revolutionary is it! It's just churning out more of the same and the WIS will buy one to be the popular kid admired by all.
.....I did see a mock up of a white dialled Explorer I though that I really did like.....
I am genuinely excited to hear about the new releases today and I have been ever since I got into watches again in 2014. I think today must be the most important day of the year in our WIS world?
Loving the TT SD43
Not really.
It’s a shambles lol.
I am interested of hearing what models possibly are discontinued.
Rolex site now updated. BLNR on jubilee confirmed!
It is a TT 'dweller!! Noooooo....!
All online now and a few are as per the RPR leaks it would seem.
New movement in Date Just 36 and Day Date 36
Seems the Rolex and Tudor leaks were bang on...
WG 42mm yacht master - prefer the rose gold.
What a monumental anti climax and disappointment.
Is that all they could do? Seriously.
I have the BLNR so not going to "upgrade" for the movement and bracelet.
SD is too large for normal wristed people,
I have a RG Yachtmaster on an Oysterflex. Its the perfect size but I accept it will be nice upgrade in size for some people.
Oh well, there's Baselworld 2020 to look forward to and perhaps the BLRO will come my way a little sooner as a consequence.
Can anyone really be surprised by Rolex's conservatism, iteration and regurgitation with their mid generation watches???
Yacht-master is pick of the bunch for me. The BLNR on jubilee doesnt work anywhere near as well as the BLRO released last year in my opinion.
Blue dial is the 'Superman', making the Meteorite dial the 'Lex Luthor'. I claim my £5.

The TT SD is £12,400
The WG YM42 is £21,400
Yacht-master looks good to me, I would replace my 116710ln with it if the price is close enough.
OK, it is WG ... In this case no way:)
Would I replace by BLNR with the new model....not sure! Think the Pepsi looks much better on a jubilee.
YM would've been better in steel imo.
BLNR looks pants on jubilee!
The new Date Just 36 looks as if it's got a slightly bigger dial than before

The Yachtmaster looks good, shame WG. Conservative updates, but why change anything when your sports lineup is in such demand.
Do wonder why Rolex are bothering with a new YG model (TT SD) when Rose Gold seems to be far more in vogue these days.
Prefer the Pepsi to the "new" Batman but a shame the rumoured GMT Coke with Oyster bracelet didn't happen.....
Not impressed with the Rolex releases this year. I was going to change my BLNR bracelet for a jubilee one later on this year anyway.
Patek have done a much better job on their 2019 range, think i’ll catch up on the rest of the new releases this evening
Wonder if this means better availability of the Oysterflex. Would love to get one on my 116622
Nothing really tickling my fancy there. I love the look of the Yachtmaster, but being white gold and over twenty grand, I'm out. I'm sure there will be a lot of criticism of Rolex, but come on, creating a massive wow every year is a bit of an ask. Maybe next year.....
Prefer my current blnr.
Black 116710LN - gone.
Yet again no new Explorer 11 with ceramic bezel after so many people said it would be released this year.
I’m wondering about this - is it just how they’ve photographed it to emphasise the Rolex engraving on the rehaut? Or is it possible the’ve tweaked it to be slightly closer to the classic proportions? Somehow it looks a little less bulbous and more like earlier models, but it might be my imagination. Pity you can only configure it with PCLs or Jubilee, as the chamagne dial with brushed oyster bracelet would be about as classic as you could get.
Rolex has saved me money this year, I may get a new 36mm when they hit the stores.
