    Ares Diver-1

    Hi All,

Has anyone got an Ares Diver-1? Or have any thoughts on the watch?

    https://areswatches.com/shop/ares-di...mer-tool-watch

    The movement is a quartz Ronda 716Li Anti-magnetic rating 18.8Oe, shock resistant to NIHS-91-10 standards, and thermo-compensated -0 to 50+ C
Would anyone know if that is any good? The watch retails around £600 exchange rate dependant etc

    Cheers

I have read high praises about the watch and the guy behind it, over on that American dive watch forum.

To me it seems a bit much price wise and the pilots bezel puzzles me given that it’s a diver..

For my money I’d have a look elsewhere.

    Doesn't grab me lookswise.

Any mis-reading the name doesn't help!

Good point - that would be a very different kind of diving..

Yes, my thoughts were on the price point too.
The Pilots bezel is what attracted me to it. I've been searching years for a clean watch face with a pilots bezel and quartz, bit like rocking horse s**t

I have a Tutima Pilot FX which I love but even after servicing it keeps terrible time

Then this will probably do great. It does have a lifetime guarantee which is also something
