Nice, SUS remakes. I've always liked the design. How can I justify one when I already have a Seiko Spirit!

JDM only? I like them but can't work out if they are mechanical or quartz?

Love those! Quartz and 35mm make them ideal every day, no nonsense watches.

Love these and want to buy one. Anyone suggest the best place to make a purchase?

The blue looks great. Hard to tell from the photos but does it have a sunburst dial?

Spot on. I've been looking out for a SUS recently, but I think I've missed the boat - the prices have gone through the roof. Clearly, Seiko has noticed! Black dial or white in steel for me, please!

    Edit - yikes.

Yup they have been expensive for a while. Great that Seiko can ressurect their classic designs without messing them up. I prefer that it is quartz as I had that movement in another Seiko and despite its technical merits found it really stiff to wind and so hard to use, which according to Seiko is normal.

I'm glad it's quartz too. At this price point, mechanical timekeeping is atrocious.

I much prefer the Rattler Field Watch by Manchester Watch Works, which is an homage to the Seiko SUS.

I could definitely see one (or two) of these in my future :)

Lug width seems to be 18mm. Or could it be 17mm?

Such a shame these new ones are not hi-beat as the previous. Would have been a more compelling option IMO.

Does anybody have recommendations on where best to purchase these from online, and when they’ll be available (if not already)?

I thought the dial numerals were lumed, but it’s just the hands. Still lovely.

A friend of a friend in Osaka.

Could have saved paying local tax shipping and import fees, but couldn’t wait until July :)

Looks great! Hands are just the right length. Does the seconds hand hit the markers?

Anyone picked up a snkp21j1 yet? If so from where and what price? eBay resellers must think it's a Daytona. Some markup.

    And the lumed dial version.

I do like the look of these Nano Reissues.

I'd suggest though that rather than the SUS 4s15 automatic model SCFF001 many internet pages are ascribing it to that more accurately the SCXP155 in particular could be be seen instead as a reissue of the less common (I presume) 7n21 quartz model SCFB001.

Anyway, for those interested - as I am - there is a limited edition too for the Japanese shop TicToc, reference SCXP167.
Sadly I think the nato strap cheapens it a little, though the dial is the real attraction imo.
