Where do you go for decent but not overly expensive leather straps?
I usually go to thestrapshop, as their straps have insane longevity at a ridiculously affordable price, but in this case, they dont have anything that suits my needs ( something very plain, light in color, for a white stowa partitio).
Watch gecko has ok stuff, but i dont think they are all that affordable and i also dont think the quality is amazing. I have one that started to look old after only a few weeks.
FYI - I did a search of the forum as i thought this might be a common question, but didnt find much, at least with my search terms.

I love colareb straps. Very comfortable leather, actually most comfortable leather straps I have. Have quite a few now.
Most of their straps are not dressy, any style you are looking for?
Not the cheapest but great value for money. Also have quite a few really cheap ones from e.g. cheapestnato but the difference in quality is huge.

I would suggest you try watchbandcenter as already mentioned or Waccex. I’ve had good outcomes with both and I particularly like the BOB straps sold by Waccex...

Agree with you about WatchGecko, otherwise as above. Best in the UK: ukwatchstrap Best in ROTW: watchbandcenter (Germany) - mind-boggling selection and about 3 days shipping to the UK. Have bought lots of straps from both and can highly recommend.
Watchobsession have good customer service imo
I’ve been going to Andrea at Martu Leather for my straps over the past 4 or 5 years. They typically take a couple of weeks to arrive from Chile but I’ve always been impressed with the quality and size range for the money.

Pavstraps, who sells here on SC, will hand-make you a beautiful leather strap for not much more or even less than than a lot of the mass-manufactured stuff. Worth contacting to commission exactly what you want.
