I have one with the 6BB on the back (dunno what the year is as I can't find it currently).
It has no C on the back.

Have collected four or five of these (and later sold on) at one time or another. However I've not seen one that appears to have been actually issued/supplied to the MOD/RAF.
CWC state they supplied a small number around 2000 but I've only seen watches with just a C on the case back from this period instead of the expected S/N plus date. A little later still this changed to a C followed by a number, then from 2008 a serial number with year like you would expect on a military issued watch but these are too late to be issued going by CWC's statement and appear to have been sold by Silvermans.
So has anyone ever seen/owned a GS2000 with real MOD/RAF provenance and if so do they have a S/N and year and if so what year?
Thanks,
Ed

Hello Ed
I found it earlier today, the military info' off the back of it is -
6B/6645-99
6052827
2259/08
& it shows a Broad arrow.
I hope that's of interest.

No problem.
I was thinking about this one. I bought it off the original owner in about 2009, he'd bought it new from CWC & it came in the usual tin etc.
However like I say, it has no C on the back. Maybe it was oversupply for the military that got sold on to the civilian market perhaps?
Cheers
Dave
