Back to basics mobile phone for an 80 year old!

Bit of an odd one. It's my Dad's 80th soon and all he wants from me present wise is a replacement for his ageing mobile phone. The problem is his criteria is entirely the opposite of where the market is right now. He's on 02 and it needs to be sim free but it also needs to be:

-big enough buttons etc so he can use it (not touch screen)
    -simple to use
-sms/voice only - none of your smartphone business. He doesn't want data or internet connectivity

In addition, I would like it to be bluetooth enabled so that he can connect it to my car when he borrows it plus his next car is likely to be an X1 or similar so it'll connect to the iDrive etc

I had a quick look on Amazon and there are a number of old school Nokias available. I'm struggling to find anything above £60. This seems to be about the best option: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nokia-C2-01...nokia+sim+free

Does anyone have any other suggestions please?

Have a look here - the first one should fit the bill - has bluetooth for connection to car + all basic functions - is Amazon's UK first choice and less that £30 and of course the Amazon returns policy if you Dad can't get on with it.

    A little Nokia 3310 ?

Basic enough and no need to get involved with data etc for basic call and text functionality.

Thanks for the suggestion. It looks a little small to me though.

I was just looking at these,
    www.punkt.ch
the modern day old phone. Not sure if it ticks the button size box.

Amazon even has a 'Big Button Mobile Phone' category

Bought my dad (who's 74) a Doro 6520 Clamshell phone.

He loves it, and I've configured it, and I rate it.

My mum has an iPhone SE, runs AirBnB and Tripadvisor apps as a property owner, uses the Dropbox app for her tax receipts and loads her foreign credit card with Euros using the phone before she goes abroad,

    Seniors eh?

Thanks for all the input guys. I actually went for a Punkt MP01 in the end. Bit pricey at £199 via Amazon but it's a special birthday. I hope it will be excellent quality and last him.

EDIT: I just cancelled the order after I realised that the 2G network may well disappear in a few years so spending that much £ on old tech is silly. Went with a 'Doro 5030' instead that has solid reviews and will be more than adequate for him. And if not I'll just buy him something else as it's cheap as chips.

    Just bought old mother Seamaster73 (also 80) a Doro 5030 — it's exactly what you're after.
