Wow which watch ... just for fun

So without providing any info which would you choose. Now I have actually handled the Breitling and just based on that it's a "wow" unbelievably nice watch. So choose your watch and explain your choice.

Sorry Breitling really needs to hire much better photographers to shill their watches.

I found this picture it's a better picture to base your opinion on.

Hamilton for me looks sharp, that breitling is massive I believe!!
I have not seen either in the flesh though so that could change my mind.

I think that the Hamilton has the more traditional look,
But personally I tend to wear bigger watches so the Breitling would be my preferred choice. Does the Breitling use their own movement? If so I would also prefer that to a basic ETA

Breitling now have a rule that contrasting sub dials indicate in house movement

Both are nice but I'd probably go with The Breitling based on the more toned down face.

Id take the Hamilton for the money difference and it being 40mm.

The brietling pushers are much nicer though not worth an extra 4.6k

You can add this to the mix...

The TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 18 Chronograph

Breitling but the Hamilton's strap looks classier.

I prefer the case shape and pushers of the Breitling, but the dial, size and price of the Hamilton.

Overall the Hamilton would be my pick.

The Hamilton send to have a clarity and unfussed look that the Breitling somehow lacks. I prefer the lugs and bezel on it too.

Slightly biased view as the only one I have handled and seen was the Breitling. I have to say it was very nice. Love the pushers. And for me a serious consideration down the line.

Ditto, find the lugs a little too sharp looking on the Hamilton.

In addition I don’t like the crown on the Hamilton - not inkeeping with the rest of the finish. Too large and satin v the polished Chrono pushers?

The pushers on the Hamilton make it a ‘no’ from me.

    Hamilton all day long.
    Better proportioned.
    Nicer pushers.
    Nicer Strap.
    Nicer Crown.
more angular lugs suit this design better, particularly with the choice of pushers.
    4k cheaper.

I'd have to handle them first, preferably both at the same time - I like the pushers on the Breitling, I like a bit of red, the strap looks nicer ... but I tend to prefer more spartan, simpler, and "flatter" watches if they're done right. I also really like this version of Hamilton logo, it's madness that they've changed it. This is a good challenge, and it must be a very tough call for you.

To answer one question the Breitling is the in-house B01 movement. I myself have an older chronograph watch with similar pushers to the Hamilton. They can get caught on things and get ripped out ask me how I know.

Breitling for me, nicer pushers more rounded, more rounded case & lugs, hammys lugs are too Sharpe, Breitling movement, but agree would have been nice with a frame round the date.

    Breitling all day long,
    Manufacture movement.
    COSC certified.
Nicer more comfortable looking crown and pushers.
Nice subtle splash of colour on the dial and second hand.
    Hands look more refined.
Subdials don't look like they've been ripped off a speedy.
    More elegant hour batons.
    Less intrusive date window.
I'd guess at a longer power reserve
    Case looks more refined.
I have fat wrists so the bigger the better.

Hamilton for me, based primarily on the case diameter

    Breitling for me:

pushers, crown, case shape, and I’m guessing the movement is the B01.
It's just a matter of time...

The only reason to pick the Hamilton over the Breitling would be financial... because the Breitling is clearly better made with a superior in-house movement.
