I’ve reported it again saying they’re ignoring multiple people reporting it.

Has anyone messaged the seller and got their reaction?

I asked him for a dial photo and got the same one shown above. I replied to inform him that he'd inherited a fake.
    No response.

Ignoring that shows he 100% knows, a true a-hole then. Mind, eBay aren’t much better ignoring multiple reports.

It's over a grand now. Somebody is going to be upset when the Seiko movement needs a service in 10 years

Of course he knows. Hiding behind the authenticity disclaimer. "I inherited the watch so cannot prove history nor it authenticity. I am guessing it is genuine Tudor but cannot be sure so please bid on this understanding."

Complete cobblers - why doesn't he go and get it checked?! I've reported it several times for the disclaimer (which is a category of listing rule breach) and as fraud (on the basis that he knows full well it's a fake and is trying to con someone into thinking they are getting a bargain).

    Expensive fake.

The bits near the winder look like they have been 3D printed.

£1470 with 23 hours to go.

No response to my message asking to come round & inspect the watch prior to bidding. The seller lives in the same town as me

    Unbelievable conclusion!

Apparently the purchaser is delighted with his overpriced fake!

This is the type of thing that puts me off buying on ebay.
I'm not sure I'd know enough to spot a good fake :(

You didn’t need to with this one. The seller had the brass neck to put in black and white that it “might” not be real. No-one would list a genuine expensive watch that way.

The Ebay one is definitely fake.

Here is a pic of mine taken with my phone, no touching up etc, so you can see what a genuine looks like in real life and compare it to the vendors pics.

If the guy finds its a fake, is there anything he can do, given that the seller stated it may not be genuine (or words to that effect)?

I doubt, if the buyer sued him, that the courts would give the fraudster any credit. He basically lied by suggesting that the watch might be real. He knew it wasn't otherwise why even mention authenticity?
