    Rattan (plastic) type furniture

    'Afternoon all

Looking for recommendations/experience for plastic Rattan patio furniture. 2 x two seater sofas.

Not looking for the cheapest or top of the range. Something middle of the road.

    Thanks

We bought some maze rattan Winchester table and chairs several years ago. Still looks good now.

Plastic is very unfashionable and not good for the world, stays around long after you've bought and thrown away loads of the same in the years ahead!.

They use real rattan, not plastic. I much prefer the natural material too, but the OP has specified the artificial material.

    AHi Ralphy hi OP

This is set we went for

    https://www.rattandirect.co.uk/monac...champagne.html

It’s ‘plastic’ rattan so sorry environment in 10 years I’ll recycle it

Anyway thing to look out for is the frame needs to be aluminium so won’t corrode and lighter to move

Ring them they will deal as often have offers we got a free gas patio heater which seems reasonable quality

And it came with covers included which you need

Are you sure it's not natural rattan?

    From their customer service page

    What is synthetic rattan?
Synthetic Rattan is what our garden furniture is made from. Its contemporary design reflects our innovative vision to create products that are ahead of the trends. The weave is made using synthetic rattan to ensure that the furniture is all weather proof, as natural rattan would rot outdoors. This gives customers the luxury of having the best of both worlds.

Thanks. We've only had the natural rattan furniture, but then it's either been used indoors or under an outdoor canopy.
