    SOTC Feb 2019

Thought I’d share a SOTC after some recent activity :)

2019 has brought two big changes for me. I decided to just go for it this year and try to nail a balanced trio with some classics.

Firstly, I swapped my much loved Explorer 1 for an Explorer 2 polar. I never thought I’d move the 214270 on but having developed a real desire for 5 digit Rolexes, I decided to try a white dial 16570. Very pleased with it, fits like a glove and incredibly comfortable.

Secondly, after buying a BB58, the Submariner itch came back big time. As much as I love the idea of BBs, I get bored quickly with them. I should have learned after moving 3 or 4 of them on (in several guises)... The BB58 is the best of them, for me, but the 16610 had to be done. The BB58 was moved on for no loss (hurrah) and a Sub finally became part of the collection.

I’ve also found I’m a fan of the cyclops. Love it or hate it, evenly so no doubt, I like the extra dimension it adds.

    Cheers, Berty

    Great trio love the polar!
Worn in rotation? Or each has a set use?

I generally wear the Speedy every day and then swap for one of the others in the evenings and weekends

Nice collection, I'm recently getting quite drawn to the Explorer 2.

An excellent trio, of which my favourite is the 16570.

Interested by your comment about the BB58 making way for the 16610. I think that I am reaching the conclusion that I prefer my BB58 to my 14060M.

    Three classics there Berty!

I’ve been toying with the idea of going 16750 to 214270 but still haven’t made the switch.

Lovely trio there sir. I also have recently purchased a 16570 explorer 2 and really love it as a daily wearer. Surprised you only wear it on the weekends with the sub. Must be a pain to keep setting the Polar each time.

I seem to manage to keep them all going with a few turns here and there and long walks in the evenings (not the reason for the walk)!
