Hope this new bracelet Eddie comes out with has enough adjustment to fit my tiny wrist.

Normally on the 6 o’clock side there’s isn’t enough links to take out to have the clasp sit in the right position, especially with clasp that just snap close. Ordered a cheap on off eBay and the folding part of the clasp sits too far to one side and forces the links to kink and not fold around the wrist.

I may have to just order another Steinhart oyster.

Other than that, I’ve had my watch on ever since I got it!!

After the first one it doesn't matter any more. My CWC RN has it's fair share now . . .

Mine is my every day, not going to the gym watch. Gardening, house clearing, tip runs, playing with my son, seeing my daughter at Uni... any scratches, dents or other damage acquired during these pursuits is a memory. I'm not going to go out of my way to damage it but bumps are part of life and to be embraced on this type of watch. For me anyway.

I totally agree. I have only ever bought one brand new watch and that was the recent Newmark chronograph re-issue, all my other watches are vintage and have some quality patina.

My comment was aimed at the gentlemans beautifully lit, crisp photography and what a first scratch on the bezel would do to the next image.

No worries here... I am photographing it as it is -- daily use, bumps/nicks/scratches are all part of the 'Patina of Life'. Trust me, there are a couple already on it! As other's have stated: I am not going out of my way to nick it up but it is inevitable through use.

There are some truly lovely pics of the Everest in here.

I have a request, anyone out there have a picture of a white-dialled Everest and an Expedition next to each other?
